Celebrate With Us Every Sunday in December
We’re celebrating Christmas all month long! Each Sunday in December, we’ll light an Advent candle together. This is a simple, beautiful tradition that reminds us of the hope, peace, joy, and love that Christ brings into our world.
Throughout December, our worship will be filled with the songs of the season: classic Christmas songs and hymns that remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. There’s something special about singing songs like “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” and “Joy to the World” together as a church family.

What happens at Christmas services?
You can expect a friendly, inviting atmosphere at our services all month long. You’ll be welcomed by smiling faces that are happy to see you!
Services lasts about an hour, and it consists of upbeat worship and an inspiring message. On Sunday mornings, your kids will be having fun in our IBCKids ministry!
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes in advance of the service time to allow time to check in children, grab a cup of coffee, and find a seat in our sanctuary. (And don’t worry, we’ll have staff available to find seats for you when you arrive!) If you want to skip the lines, make sure you pre-register your children in advance!
Where do I go?
We have campuses located in Corbin, Richmond, and Williamsburg! If you are new and visiting for the first time, snag one of the closer parking spots that we’ll leave open for you.
Enter any of the main doors leading into our foyer where a First Impressions team member can lead you to the IBCKids area or to the coffee bar or a free quick pick-me-up before entering our auditorium for worship.
Should I RSVP in advance?
If it’s your first time joining us at Immanuel, letting us know you’re coming will help us serve you with excellence. We want to meet you at the door and shake your hand!
It will also allow you to pre-register your children so that the check-in process will be faster if you attend on a Sunday when we offer children’s programming.
We’d love to see you even if you don’t RSVP, but if you want to let us know you’re coming, you can do that here.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! We want you to be comfortable and ready to hear the Word of God.
Some folks enjoy dressing up for Christmas, while others keep it more casual. When you look around at our services on Christmas, you may see everything from t-shirts to three-piece suits!
What programs are available for my kids?
Our IBCKids ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade during our Sunday morning services. During our children’s programming, your kids will have the chance to worship and learn about Jesus in a safe, clean, and joyful environment! We have age-specific curriculum for pre-school and elementary students.
IBCKids makes the check-in and check-out process easy, safe and secure. Our procedures ensure that you are quickly contacted if there are any issues and that only parents and authorized individuals can pick up a child. And, each IBCKids volunteer has undergone a background check to ensure a safe environment for your children.
